My experience working with thousands of golfers from beginners to winners in my golf school over the past twenty five years has taught me that growing your key mental skills will make a much better golfer from you than developing your technical skills. Yes you need a reasonable technique to perform at golf, but you need far more than that if you would like to continually get better at this game.

The oldest course in the world is the Old Links at Musselburgh, in which the game has been played since 1672. The links at St. Andrews occupy a narrow strip of land across the sea. Golfers on this course proved a customary route through that terrain playing holes suited to the topography.
Here's what you do to change your situation and get on track to acquiring success at golf regardless of what your present level. I call this the 5 Measure Pro Tour Golf Confidence Mental Routine.
Now, the LPGA. The average driving distance on that tour is about 260 yards. 260 yards times 25 equals 6,500 yards. Sure enough, the girls play on courses measuring from 6,400 to 6,600 yards, which is just where they need to be.

All this led me to a basic conclusion: green studying by eye and some of the other senses is essentially a flawed proposition. Let ê°€ì¼í‹°ë¹„ compare it to space measuring. Golfers don't measure distance to the green just by eyeballing it. No, golfers rely on yardage markers or dimensions on sprinkler heads, and, more recently, laser range finders or GPS devices. If we use such measuring tools for estimating distance, why do we rely on our eyes and other senses to quantify something as crucial as the incline on a green?
At what point do we say, Is the LPGA dragging you down? Is the competition so lame you will need a new playground? At this point in her young career this can not be said because she hasn't won. When you can look here starts to assemble Sorenstam-like seasons, maybe then she should give it a serious move on the PGA Tour.
